Introducing Our New Housing Volunteer
Sandy Burley is a volunteer in the YWCA’s Transitional Living Program. She runs a weekly group for our ladies called: Life Skills Development. Sandy is a very important mentor for several of our ladies on a weekly basis. She lives on a farm in Convoy with her husband Louie Burley, 4 horses and several dogs. Sandy has 5 children and 8 grandchildren. She enjoys riding horses, cooking and helping others. Her parents were police officers in New York and earlier in her life she helped out with many role plays to help educate other police officers and departments. So she has been involved in helping others most of her life. If she could do anything with her life she would have her family living closer to her. Other than that she would not change a thing, she is living her dream.
